Press Release from the Durango Discovery Museum
New Durango Poster to Benefit Durango Discovery Musuem

In honor of its 50 years in Durango and its new state of the art Heidelberg PM74
Press, Basin Printing & Imaging held a "Business After Hours" reception at its
offices where it demonstrated the advanced technology of the new press by printing
a limited run of new posters for the Durango Area Tourism Office (DATO)
which were designed by Nancy Leach of Graphic
Interpretations and which featured the photographs of Jonas Grushkin of
Photogenesis. The poster features pictures of the Powerhouse and other
photos from the Durango area. Framed versions were provided by Affordable Framing Plus.
Proceeds from the poster will benefit our
project and will be available at the DATO office, bookstores and other
retail businesses in Durango.
The poster project was made possible by grants from La Plata Electric Associationand DATO. Claire Bradshaw, Project Director for the Durango Discovery Museum expressed her heartfelt thanks to Basin Printing & Imaging, LPEA, DATO, Jonas Grushkin and Nancy Leach. She said that she, "is thrilled that this wonderful poster of Durango will benefit the Durango Discovery Museum."
